Here are some Yummy tidbits from readers, the media, and fellow bloggers during the past week.
The Yummy Life got some sweet recognition in the media.
It's been a busy week at The Yummy Life. The posts about Caramel Apples and Maple Pumpkin Spice Lattes got nods from 2 different news sources.
I don't know if you've ever seen a turtle smile, but this news put a big grin on Yummy's cute little turtle face. And mine.
Thanks to everyone who has commented on my blog posts.
I love reading the comments you add at the end of my posts. Please feel free to ask questions, offer additional tips or ideas, and even disagree with my advice. I want The Yummy Life blog to be a conversation with give and take and new ideas exchanged. Every day I learn something new from my readers who leave comments. I appreciate your emails, too; but it's especially helpful when you add your comments in the comments section at the end my posts so that other readers can read and benefit from your thoughts, suggestions, and questions. I get motivation and great ideas from you, and that way other readers can too. So, please join the conversation and keep those comments coming!

Among tips that were mentioned on my Facebook page this week:
Mouth watering recipes from other bloggers:
There simply aren't enough days in the week to try all of the great recipes that I come across. I chose these seasonal recipes from fellow bloggers who made comments on my blog posts. These look particularly delicious. I'm anxious to try them all. In the meantime, here are their links in case you'd like to add any of these to your fall cooking plans.
Pumpkin Belgian Waffles. I love waffles and I love pumpkin. These look like a perfect fall breakfast. I'm thinking they'be good with toasted pecans sprinkled on top or mixed in the batter. And maple syrup, of course.
Baked Mini Apple Cider Donuts. I had no idea that you could bake donuts, and that there are pans made just for that. I'm anxious to try these.
Pumpkin Scones. Scones are one of my favorite things. These would be good paired with a Maple Pumpkin Spice Latte. A match made in autumn heaven.
Giant Pumpkin Molasses Cookies. My mother-in-law always had a jar a molasses cookie for the grandkids when we came to visit. I love the pumpkin added to this recipe. And, they're giant sized. More (and bigger) is always better, right?
Roasted vegetables for fall or anytime. This is a great post with simple how-to instructions for roasting a variety of vegetables. I'm going to try roasting acorn squash.
Butternut Squash and Ginger Bread. This recipe takes squash to a whole new level. Sounds so good.
White Chocolate Cranberry Filled Shortbread Cookies. You have to see these. They are beautiful. I'm thinkin' they must taste good, too.
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pancakes. How can you go wrong with that combination? Holy Yummy!
That's all for this week.
To all of my Yummy readers and fellow bloggers, thanks for the great ideas. And, thanks for visiting my blog and joining the conversation.
Make it a yummy day!
